Happy New Year 2015. It is amazing how many people want to know and have questions about my Jumbo stockings even though I have been posting the story. Here it is in short again of my Jumbo stockings. Yes these are Jumbo and a Baby can fit into them. That is how it started. I knitted a Red Snowman one in 1977 for my baby Daughter to come Home.I also knitted one with Green Reindeer one for my 5 yr old Son . Then 33 yrs later in 2010 I knitted Two Green Reindeer Stockings for my Grand Son and for my Son in Law. In 2011 I knitted one more Red Snowman stocking for my Grand daughter. But we could not find the 2 Green Reindeer stockings my Son (1977) and My GrandSon (2010). So this year I knitted them again and one Red Poinsettia one for my daughter in Law and One Red Reindeer and Red Poinsettia combined one for ME. Yes These are called Patterned stockings from McCalls 1975. I made up my Own Designs of Snowman and this Year I knitted 4 of them on the left in 3 weeks. the New SnowMan design i knitted just by looking at my Shirt as in the 2nd Photo. So I hope that answers all Questions . these are 4 Feet Tall. Yes I filled them with alot of Toys as well as my Grand Babies in them.
