When I was a tad younger, I went to an art festival in my town and saw one piece that was knitted that had 3 large jellyfish (done by the incredible fiber artist Cheryl Andrews, although pics of it are sadly not on her project page). I am not yet at that caliber of knitting, so I wanted to do my version of it, a tribute sort of, to one of my favorite fiber sculptures! :)

I used knitting needles as the structure to hold it up-- it hangs above my bed, so now I get to wake up and see a reminder of my love for knitting! :)

I will most likely be posting the pattern-- there are 2 sizes I made up, but you could technically make any size with just different needle and yarn weights.

Please excuse the explosive amount of pictures I posted for it-- they’re rather fun to photograph! :) I couldn’t get the perfect lighting, though. :/
