I purchased this yarn on sale and had many ideas on how I would use it. After swatching a bit -- I surprised myself in deciding to make something very different from what I first imagined.

As with all lace -- I will not really know what I have, or how much I will like it, until after it is finished and blocked. To be a knitter you need to have faith :-)

I was unable to work the nupps with the linen yarn -- there was not enough give to work purl-7-together. Instead of nupps, I worked knitted ‘knots’. Read more about it in my blog post, “Knots not Nupps”.
