I do not know why I don’t knit more often with colors like this. It is so pretty to look at in my hands! I named the project “The Color of Flowers” because it is the same coral color as the flowers on my front porch. (Please see bottom photo.)

I picked the color to go with a beautiful silk skirt of mine which has a watercolor-like floral print. I will have to photograph the skirt and put it on this page at some point. So pretty. (Done. See the second from last photo.)

08-19-14
Finished the seaming on Friday, wore it to a wedding with the skirt on Saturday, and took the photos today. The sweater fit very well but not too close. I was happy with my outfit.

My only modification was to knit only 1” of the rosette pattern for the neckband.
