Notes

10/22/11 update - The hat really is great for me, but as usual, Lil One stole the show. I think she has a future as an actress - those big green eyes just draw me in every time. The ribbon I found is not stretch, so I figured out the dimension needed to fit my head then essentially hemmed it on the bottom edge only. The little flowers were also a fabric store stock item, but they added just the right vintage flair I think.

Nice little pattern, overall very clear and concise. I used nice wooly Harrisville wool, although I don’t know if it really matches the specs here on ravelry because it was unmarked and about 15 years ond (and I think unwashed for weaving, but I washed it once before using it). Hats are great for using up a couple hundred yards of stash misc. wool. I think I’d even make this one again!
