Notes

After cast on, skein weighs 187.4 grams including the ball band.

After first triangle, about 170g of yarn left.

After the second triangle, the yarn skein weighs about 151g. I keep forgetting to weigh until I’m a little bit into the first row. :D

So, it looks like each triangle takes about 18g of yarn. I could theoretically get 10 triangles out of this pattern instead of 7. I might try that.

11-24-2015

After the third triangle, the yarn skein weighs 132.6g. So, I’m right on track with yarn usage.

I totally did not keep up with the triangles. I’m traveling, though, and finished up. I decided to do 9 triangles and then do the last bit and bind off. I was playing a little bit of yarn chicken, but it wasn’t dire. I’ll weigh the remnant when I get home and do the math to figure out how much the border took, yarn weight wise. I’ll also block and take pics.

01-17-2016

After bind-off, the scale says I have 4.9 grams of yarn, left. A quick measure shows that’s about 16 yards.

The final rows and bind-off took about 17g of yarn, so it’s a good thing I didn’t try to do 10 triangles.
