This was a wonderful knit project for a semi-beginner knitter. It was my first time to knit with a garter tab beginning, and that was like magic to me! I had a bit of trouble with the first row of detailed stitching, but after that it was smooth sailing. This was also my first time blocking a project, and it definitely helped even things out a bit! I was not able, however, to get it to be the finished size in the pattern…approximately 53” across! Mine is closer to 44”…and not really sure why the large discrepancy, as I’m a pretty loose knitter. All in all, however, fabulous project.
