I played around with photoshop and the colors I chose…I think I’m happy with this combo.

While waiting for my yarn I am stalking projects…I think I’ve been stalking for hours and hours if you put all the time together…I think I’m going to do short rows at the back neckline as I really hate stuff on my neck…

the yarn is in my town! It arrived in my town on Saturday-and of course no deliveries on Sunday..I’ve been a basket case!!! EEK! SO EXCITED!

I know myself and I tend to have a looser gauge-so I am not bumping my needle up after the ribbing…I did keep a very tight gauge (for me) for the ribbing though….I was able to measure a portion of the stockinette and I am very happy with my gauge. This yarn is gorgeous! I am so happy I splurged! EEK! Now I’m a bit miffed though-as hubby is home for FOUR FREEKING DAYS! UGGH!

Still working on the body-I’m at 28 cm now…getting really excited about it! It won’t be too tight and that was my big worry-it looks like it will be loose-just hopefully not too loose! :)

I’m nearly done with the bottom portion…If I weren’t making oodles of Christmas cookies and other festive things I’d probably be done by now…but I am just enjoying taking my time…for once! haha!

Almost done with the first sleeve…Going really slow due to Christmas preparations, kids being home (and needing stuff like…FOOD! haha!)..

I started the colorworking portion of the yoke…I have done a few short rows and am questioning myself…the color pattern is interrupted just a little bit in the front-but I’m hoping it isn’t noticeable…I’m going to keep going and see what happens…fingers crossed….So really, it isn’t bad…it just slightly tilts a little, which obviously is what the point is..I actually think I’ll be happy with it…up on further ponderation (and no it isn’t a word but it should be).

I tried the thing on for the first time. OMG I am in love love love I tell you!!! The fit is perfect, and the colors are awesome! EEK!

So, I finished it! YEAH! Well, it is off the needles anyhow…I still have to close my pits and weave my ends but IT’S DONE! AND I’m happy with my modifications! EEK! I’ll post them all tomorrow…
