Notes

It’s kind of like a slouchy cat-burglar hat, but in a brilliant color that makes it fabulous, but also less cryptic than a cat-burglar should be.

Good yarn-pattern combination. The middle photo is it inside-out. This broken rib pattern looks great “right” side or “wrong” side out.

I did the “round crown” version of the pattern.

Here are my modifications to adjust the pattern for worsted weight yarn.

CO 80 stitches

Added an extra inch of broken rib to the crown.

Seems not quite slouchy enough before blocking, I am worried I didn’t upsize the stitch count enough in the broken rib. However, my Jane in Malabrigo seemed to really relax after washing and blocking the first time, so I’m holding my breath that this really will be OK.

The yarn did seem to bloom a little after washing and blocking. I’m happy with it!
