6/23/13- First time making a project that requires some lace making ability. Very excited! I’m making a swatch to practice the lace bit before I officially start.

6/25/13: Successfully managed a lacy swatch. I’m ready to get started on the real thing!

7/19/13: It’s coming along. I am on my second skein of yarn and am about halfway done. I would probably be done by now if it weren’t for all my mistakes…

9/18/13: Almost done! I’m finishing up the top border. I learned how to run a piece of floss along my needles as a “lifeline” and it has been so helpful when I need to fix mistakes. This project has taken me so much longer than it would probably take a more experienced knitter. It took me a long time to get into the rhythm of the pattern. Now that it’s nearly finished, I’ve finally gotten into the knitting groove and can work the pattern without really thinking about it.
