Well written pattern. The most difficult part was the flat stranded intarsia bits with lace patterning on both sides. Whew! But it’s to great effect, so it’s worth struggling through those few transition rows. The flat stranding I found a bit challenging, but the lace part was fun.

I wish I’d weighed the Saldanha before starting because it was a rather heavy skein. There were 140 grams after the second repeat of the stranded portion, and the rest used 40 grams.

9/25 - bound off with an 8

9/23 - finished with the arrowhead lace charts

9/20 - finished transition chart. Very happy with it!

9/18 - finished with the stranded bits (except for weaving in those extra 20 ends…) On to the lace!

9/17 - finished second repeat

9/16 - 7 more rows. Need to switch to a longer cable.

9/15 - 6 more rows

9/13 - 4 rows (of 24) of second repeat.

9/12 - first repeat of the color chart finished. Still really have to pay attention.

9/8 - Holding both laceweight yarns doubled. I may be in trouble.

Difficulty scale of 1 to 10, right now I’d rate this a wow (although it gets a bit easier with practice).

I don’t like the M1R and M1L increases, but I’m not sure if there’s a better way. If I knit this again, I’ll experiment with other increases.
