Notes

Time for some knitted fingerless mittens.

Update 9 November
After a bumpy start, the mittens are doing great. The first one is ready and it feels awesome! It’s my first ribbed project and I may be overreacting, but when I put it on and saw how elastic it was, it felt soooo nice! It’s not too tight or too loose, it fits my hands just fine, it’s warm and beautiful. I added the thumb by crocheting two rounds with a 4.5mm hook. I cast on the second mitten soon after I had finished the first, I wanted to avoid the Second Mitten Syndrome and I can’t wait to finish it too, put them both on and take them out with me (and show them off).

Update 10 November
Now they are both done! I even took them out for a walk today and they are very warm and comfortable. I have already started a crochet hat for me with the same yarn. I think they will all look very nice with the This way Up scarf Luz-de-Luna made me (it’s an amazing scarf, like a warm knitted hug).
What do you think? :-)
