Notes

6/2016 - Woohoo! My shawl is one of those featured in this month’s TFA e-newsletter!

The setting sun enhanced all these beautiful colors!

Knitting this gorgeous shawl was such a pleasure, and my yarn and bead stash are happy, too!

Thank you, Barbara, for this fabulous design! ♥

11/08 - Shawl used a little over 1,000 beads. She’s relaxing in her bubblebath now for her glamour shots when the weather cooperates :)

(9g rem) Started BO with 11g as I’m running short of yarn for a second full repeat. Too bad I can’t add that last gradient bead color. 9g remaining after BO.

11/05 - (23g rem) Tonight I finished round 6 while watching the Country Music Awards. It felt like Dennis was watching with me, and seeing Brad Paisley, who has always reminded me of Dennis, was somewhat comforting. Dennis, I miss you!

I was so excited that Blake Shelton won Male Vocalist of the Year, and his wife, Miranda Lambert, won Female Vocalist of the Year along with Best Album! Blake and Miranda have been my favorite coaches on “The Voice”.

While I’m looking forward to wearing this on my birthday, I don’t want this project to end. It has been a joy to knit, I love love love the yarn, and all the beads, oh my! This started out as a personal challenge to use up stash, but is ending up meaning so much more. ♥

10/01 - Finished 19 rows of round 6 in between a KAL. Back to the KAL.

09/27 - (56g rem) Finished round 5 (Pic). CT has slowed my knitting to a crawl, but I can’t stop! This is coming along beautifully, lots of bling and more to come!

09/24 - Picture of bead transition from purples to greens. (Dark to light). New iPhone camera shows the true colors!

09/20 - 4 rounds of 36 rows complete.

1st 3 rounds used 43g, 256 beads
4th round used 22g, 174 beads
5th round used 29g, 223 beads
6th round used 33g, 260 beads

Repeat rows 1-36 until shawl is the size you want, then BO on (WS) row 12 or 24 or 36.
