I’m using the same idea as strikkefrenzy’s 14 Totoros, but I’m converting it to a male model.

Pattern changes: I don’t do the body shaping to make the sweater fit the waist.

Sept. 21th: after a long break from my sweater i’m on the run again! I have finishedthe body and one of the sleve caps, started on the second one. The totoro pattern is almost done, just small details left. Love this project!!

April 4th: Wow! I just realized that I’m soon done with the body! This is taking a lot less time than i expected. Length of body: 12”. Goal: 15-16”.

March 20th: Done with the corrugated rib and started on the body.

March 16th: I’ve finally started! I was around halfway done with the corrugated rib when I pseudo-measured the gauge i was knitting, and found it was about to be 7.5” too small… =( When I removed the needle to frog it, I took the rib on my hips and it fitted perfectly! Man, knitting around on a circular needle surely fools you about the size! But this IS my first time knitting this way with a circular needle. Glad I didn’t frogged it right away..
