Notes

I kept a little notepad with two pages: Chart 1 and Chart 2/3. Each time I finished a row I marked it in both. When I had 8 rows in Chart 1, I knew to cable. When I had 6 and 12 rows for Chart 2/3 I knew to cable. And so on. Otherwise I definitely would have lost my place.

I really love this pattern and have had my eye on it for a few years. It fits perfectly. The seaming kept me from making it until I finally tried the vertical to horizontal seaming on Cocoknit’s site. That made all the difference and resulted in a clean seam.

The yarn is very sturdy and rustic. It’s not itchy but feels as if it will last a lifetime. I really like how the texture stands out with this yarn, too.

Happy dance.
