Calling this “Couch Camo” because the main color yarn is almost exactly the same color as our couches. So this is going to have to be photographed on the floor rather than the couch…

Found a few errors in the English version, so I’m going to use the French version instead.

Also I have no need for this fabric to be as stiff as my blanket was (woo super tight gauge), so I’m going to stick with US 10.5 needles for the whole thing. If I get a bit of positive ease out of it, so much the better; I like baggier clothing :)

The plan is to do a single stripe: two rows of Lace, six of Espresso, two of Lace; beginning at row 73.

Stopped two rows shorter on the back than the pattern. Arm holes are gonna be huge anyway.

Casting on 65 st for the front instead of 71; not going to do any decreases until row 19. I don’t need this to be a skirt.

Ended up only doing 6+54 rounds for the sleeves instead of the prescribed 6+56+18. Not increasing for the cuffs; only doing three rounds of seed stitch and binding off in pattern.

So I’m technically done with the pattern, but it looks amateurish and unfinished. I’m adding the hood from Lazy Weekend Sweater, and hoping that will help things look a bit sharper and less sloppy.
