Notes

3/29/15 i have no explanation or excuse for why this sweater has been hibernating in a 97% finished state for about 2 years. but it’s done and i actually finished it at Verb, just in time for Julie Weisenberger, who came to take my leggings class, to arrive! and i wore it that day and it’s the softest coziest lightweight cardi to wear over dresses… i’m in love and already want to cast on another!

3/4/12 i am the slowest knitter in the world, but it’s coming along nicely. the body is done, and one sleeve is maybe half done depending how long i end up making it. i’m not sure if i did the eyelet edging right; it seemed odd to put the holes in the purl row when they’d all been in knit rows before? but i am still enamored with the pattern and yarn and can’t wait to finish and wear it this spring!

2/7/12 brought it with me to SF last week where i got to knit with Julie W herself! also tried on Verb’s sample which fit perfectly. i’m probably half done with the body, but i think i want to make longer (full-length) sleeves so i still have a ways to go! such a beautifully simple pattern, and this yarn is divine…

1/16/12 so happy to have cast on today! i fell in love with the sample at Verb’s booth at Sock Summit last summer, and promptly bought the pattern and exact yarn used. wish i had tried it on but i think the medium will be perfect.
