I got this as a kit from Herrschners, but then put it aside because I assumed that an afghan with so many little pieces must have to be sewn together…but it turns out that this one is join-as-you-go! When I realized that, I finished it in around a week or two. I love quilts but don’t have the patience for quilting, so this pattern was right up my alley!

I have been told that the version of this pattern that is in the Herrschners Blue Ribbon Afghans book has a serious error. The pattern page for it here on Ravelry says that errata are available directly from Herrschners.
