Using my own choice of toe and heel.

Gusset Toe to 70 sts

Gusset Increases before Heel: 5 sts on each side. Left these in and worked the heel over the original number of sts for heel. This created an overall increase of 10 sts (80 sts total) for the sock leg.

I tweaked the chart a bit on the sock leg.

In the end these socks, originally for Mom, were too tight for her and so I gave them to a friend who will love them as much or more than Mom would have.

I still don’t like to do stranded colorwork, at least for socks. Hats and mittens, I can do…
