The colors in this yarn remind me of a carton of Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough Ice Cream. Yes, my mind wanders too much when I knit socks.

Starting over on 05-30-2015. Will make these socks on 2.25 mm needles, cast on 64 stitches. Magic Loop, top down, two at a time.

Next time, I’ll cast on 68 stitches to make it a bit easier for my baby boy to get the socks on and off. I think I did about 66 rounds between the final gusset decrease and the first toe decrease. Next time, I’ll do about 50 rounds before the toe decreases. I hope this yarn washes up well.
