This pattern was gifted to me by the designer. It’s a beautiful pattern. I enjoyed the fact that it started at the outside and worked inward so that the stitch count decreased. I bought the yarn in Malaga Soain while living in Torremolinos for two months. The shop is online but Angela the owner allowed me to pick it up in person.

The pattern was a pleasure to knit, although there is one small section with lace every row which requires some careful attention.
The model in the photo is a friend, on Ravelry as Tera. Her photos were taken at the West Vancouver Public Library.

The three pictures of the young woman wearing the shawl at bottom are of my niece Kara for whom I knit this shawl. She is in treatment for breast cancer and Is responding extremely well.
