Used 5.5mm needles and very stretchy cast on, 231sts (18 rpts) cast on. Changed to 5mm needles.

Beads instead of nupps plus on short row decreases.

Had to frog back to the beginning after a few rows as I had cast on and then gone straight onto the lace chat, 1 row plain is required first otherwise the YOs on the first row end up with just a single strand on the edge which in turn pulls out of shape easily , 1 row worked plain will give a neater and stronger edge for blocking

Despite what it said in the pattern, I ended up having to unpick the BO because it was too tight and used jeny’s very stretchy bind off, blocked well into a crescent shape using plastic strimmer wire instead of blocking wires! (Well y’know, I’m experimenting with things I have to hand!)
