Notes

1/20/12 Things are going OK. Got some more colors. Realized that the scarf is going to be 96” long since I’m knitting at worsted weight. Um. That might be too long. I have an idea to possibly make it a small blanket instead -- making each month a square, as it looks like that is about how they will turn out at my row gauge. 36 stitches wide will equal roughly 30 inches tall, or so. Now, the problem is that not every month has the same number of days. Hmm.
I think this would make an interesting baby blanket, though, wouldn’t it? One for the year the baby was born? But I don’t know anyone who is going to have a baby this year. :)

1/10/12: Normally I would have avoided the acrylic blend yarn for this, but I wanted to get started quickly and it was there and affordable. Also, it is very soft. :)

I wish I had one or two more shades of blue, so I might see about getting more yarn to add in later.

Great project idea!
