This Maya really shows off the textured stitches, and the cotton/alpaca blend makes for a nice nearly-year-round shawl for us in Oklahoma.

The pattern is well-written and easy to follow. The only change I made was to do M1R and M1L increases at the center spine rather than yarnovers.

This would be a really pretty shawlette in a fingering weight yarn too. Nice to have a pattern in the file that works for just about any weight of yarn.
