cast on 72 stitches using an Addi size 0 8” circular needle; used a (k2, P2) ribbing for 18 rows.

6-20-13: moving right along… Used 8 pattern repeats on the body of the sock, plus 2 rows of knitting, before working the short-row heel. (The pattern calls for garter stitch there, but I think if I repeat this pattern, I may see how a stockinette short-row works out instead.) Wrapped 16 stitches as called for in pattern; K 2 rows; and expanded the short-rows to complete the heel cup.

7-7-13: Finished the first sock on 7-5-13; used 8 pattern repeats for the foot, and Kitchener stitch to close the toe (blah).

12-4-13: Finally done with sock #2. Woo, three pairs of socks done! \o/

12-25-16: Gifted to my friend Lisa S. for Christmas. Hope they fit!

January 2018: My friend has worn a hole through on the back of the heel of one sock, and has asked if I can repair it. Need to find the remainder of this yarn!
