So, yeah. Two at a time? Why not.

It all stems from my issues getting a matching gauge on the second sock of my first toe-up magic loop pair. So, the second sock got frogged, and is now waiting until I see how this goes. LOL

Believe it or not, these socks are from the same colorway of yarn, but different lot numbers. Shows the variation, doesn’t it? The lighter one is lot #1639, and the darker is #1633. Yes, I am making more work for myself by not using two balls of one lot or the other. I have so many WIPs/UFOs right now, I hardly think it matters. LOL

12-28-14: Cast on 48 stitches, increased to 56 stitches by K1F&B in the first stitch and the next-to-last stitch on each needle; toes done, starting pattern from November socks

1-10-15: 4 pattern repeats completed; starting gusset increase as per the Mash-Up Magic Toe-Up “recipe.” Increasing 2 stitches on each odd-numbered row (by K1F&B in the first stitch and the next-to-last stitch) on Needle 2 until 16 stitches increased (on Row 15, or row 3 on the 6th pattern repeat).

1-11-15: Starting heel increase on sock #1. Completed Row 5 of pattern on the instep before focusing on heel.

1-23-15: heels completed on both socks, and working my way up the legs. Looks like these are fixing to be a size Small (US women’s size 5-6).

6-12-15: FINALLY cast off on the second of the two socks. Still have to work in the ends and wash/block, but for all intents and purposes, they’re done. :)
