Started these over a year ago - and was disappointed to see how big they would finish. Now I am working on the first thumb, and have decided to felt them a bit when they are done. Just hope there is enough yarn for the second thumb.

I didn’t have enough - so I am putting it aside for about six weeks.

Finally finished. Wove in all ends today. They were huge, so I tossed them in the washing m/c. They came out soft and perfectly felted to size. I doubt the lettering will be readable. Let’s see.

Ok - as you can see from the top photo, The letters are still readable, but only just. I love the way this yarn felted, and will probably give it another chance.

A wonderful design, and a fun pattern to knit - but there is no symmetry like in most traditional Selbu patterns.
