11-1-14 - seamed with cima+linen. picked up 4 less stitches for the collar. bound off collar with k2tog tbl. worked sleeve cuffs on size 8 needle (because I had a 12” circular). LOVE it!

10-27-14 - blocking the body and sleeves - then all that’s left is to set in the sleeves and knit on the collar and cuffs. really enjoying the project, and it feels weird to not be knitting on it now, while the pieces dry!

10-2-14 - my favorite project right now. finished the sleeves and now I’m cruising on the body. 6-1/2” so far (so only 11 more to go before the next step!). keeping the 3 balls in their own sandwich bags so they don’t get tangled (or roll away). even with the baggies, it’s still pretty portable because the pattern is so easy.

9-12-14 - swatching…and then I cast on! matched stitch and row gauge on my first try with the 9’s (yay!) note that the wet blocking really softens the fabric (not that it’s bad unblocked, but it’s like butter now). started with a sleeve like the pattern suggests. on DPNs. spread stitches across 3 needles so I had a multiple of 4 on each needle.
