8-4-17 - LOVE how well this turned out - and the size! it’s about 86”x23” … perfect to wrap up in.

8-3-17 - might be cured from mindless stockinette (and garter stitch in the round) for a while … those rows were LONG! I finished the 2nd contrast band yesterday, then picked up ALL THOSE STITCHES (nope, I didn’t count) and worked 3-1/2 of the border rows. This morning - I finished the knitting, wove in the ends and blocked it. nothing aggressive, just a good soak and then smoothed it out. photos soon!

7-3-17 - needing some mindless stockinette again!

4-18-17 - acknowledging this project is getting zero attention right now … I will get back to it!

3-26-17 - somehow found the motivation and picked up the stitches. I’m a couple of rows into the red now.

3-21-17 - worked 68 rows (about 1” more than the pattern suggested) for the contrast band; stitches are on waste yarn…now I need to get motivated to pickup stitches for the 2nd band

1-25-17 - almost ready to join the 2nd ball on that first contrast band… the band is about 4-1/2” wide. feels like I’m making progress!

1-1-17 - I picked up ~420 stitches along the first edge; worked the garter stitch and then joined the 2nd color - about an inch though the panel. LOVE the colors!

11-12-16 - ~80” on the middle panel - first section done!

10-22-16 - 52” done on the middle panel. joined 2nd skein.

10-3-16 - 33” done on the middle panel. epic….

9-29-16 - my latest epic knit. started with a provisional cast on.

pink for the center panel, orange and red for the sides and gray for the borders.
