Notes

I picked up this yarn for 50% off! I purchased 6 skeins. I only needed about 4 skeins but because I tried to keep the band consistent, I had to dig into my 5th skein.

I LOVE how this turned out. I am always nervous about variegated yarn because it looks so nice on the skein but you have to watch out for pooling. This yarn gives a nice even band throughout the sweater. I don’t even mind that the arm band widths are larger than the rest of the sweater.

The pattern was easy to follow and I adore the eyelets. I didn’t do any waste shaping in this one because I wanted a sweater that would fit over other clothing. I may regret that decision later once I remember that it’s hard to hide a belly under a flat chest.

Too bad I just missed winter here. It’s 70 degrees and I just finished my favorite wool sweater.
