5/19 - I had this yarn for ages and just loved it but didn’t know what to do with it. I wound up making Little Things but still wanted to make socks with it. I bought another skein and started Nutkin last night (after several failed attempts at other patterns with other yarns). I’m through three repeats of the pattern and am loving it. I also really love the way the cuff is constructed. :)

5/20 - So I did the heel this morning and then just for kicks (cuz I’m crazy like that…) I tried it on. I can’t get it over my heel! Gah!!! I’m going to see if they fit my mom (she has small feet, maybe that equals small heels too?), otherwise I have to frog yet another pair of socks. I’m getting so frustrated. :(

5/20 - cont. - So they don’t fit Mom either. I’m going to have to frog them and either make them bigger or… Pick a different pattern? I dunno. I’m bummed though. :(
