This was a secret project--Now it is revelved. This is yet another version of my G Class Star sun hat (Our sun, a yellow one, is a G-class star)

This hat was started 5 years ago--I am making an effort to finish up old UFO’s--and then Woolythyme made this hat for a store display (in Len’s Mills, London, Ontario) and spurred me to move this UFO project to the head of the list to be finished.

I made some changes to the original pattern and added 4 extra rows… 1:all Purls, 2:K2tog, YO (repeat for round), 3: Purl, 4: Knit. Only something like this (very open!) would stretch enough to be added with out making any increases. (these changes are not part of the pattern for sale!)

I think a lot of knitters like to personalize --I know I do, even when it is my own pattern.

Woolythyme made 2 version, and used LB 24/7 cotton instead of suggested yarn--(and it looks lovely
