This yarn is wonderful - so soft and squishy!! Charted designs are from 1977 Dover Needlework Series book “Charted Peasant Designs from Saxon Transylvania” which is an unabridged republication of “Folk Cross-Stitch Design” originally published in Germany in 1964. I found the book in an old book store in the French Quarter in New Orleans LA on a visit years before Katrina.
