I bought a bit too much of this yarn, so in my search for smaller projects using sport weight yarn I thought this might be a quick project for my boy due in December. I still have quite a bit of it left over, so this is a great stash busting project if you only have a small bit of yarn lying around!

I opted to use shadow wraps for my short rows. This method makes this project very simple, you really fly through it and the results look fantastic. Knitters are so clever!

I happened to have some cool-toned grey buttons that matched this wool perfectly, so I finished off my hat with that.
