Notes

Planning on making this in some gorgeous sportweight merino that Anne from @FiberSpa has handdyed for me tailored to this gorgeous sweater.
Will start asap!

Yarn is gorgeous and soooo soft!!
Gauge 22x31 st. Took my math to the next level… i should be fine by making size M on size 4 needles and using provisional caston in case I would want to elongate the body.

30-1 totally forgot about the provisional cast-on… but estimations are that it’ll be on the large side. yarn is a dream to knit with. I love how the colours are turning out so far.

2/12/17 so I picked up this project again. Did half the body and 1 sleeve last year, and then left it… story of my life.
Nearly done now. Only 2 rows with pattern left. I decided not to do the shortrow shaping, it doesn’t seem to be necessary for childsize sweater. Will probably do some more rows with decrease before I start the ribbing for the neck.

DONE!!
only casting off left to do and seam below arms. Will take nicer pictures tomorrow. Soooo happy with the result. It is quite thick, but will make a lovely cozy sweater. And right in time for Christmas outside walks ;)

And now really done. Took some proper pics. Color is somewhere between blue and green, daughter wasn’t really cooperative since I disturbed her minecraft game… Right in time before Christmas and all the cold wintery weather. I love the design, love the yarn. Only thing is that the arms keep twisting and bulking in upperarms. Seems to be a tad on the larger side there. However it’s not really bothering me since the idea was for it to be really comfy.
