Notes

After several ripping to get the good size, here are my Revamp Kal mitts. I’m halfway through and will post my mods when I’m finished :)

Modifications:

Cast on 50 sts
Ribbing 1x1 for 10 rows
Then I followed the decreases spacing of the Bisontine pattern. I repeated the decreases 3 times before beginning my first stripe.
I followed the Mouton pattern for the stripes. Each of my stripes are composed of 8 rows either in CC or MC.
While knitting the first stripe, I still continue to follow the decrease pattern. (4 decreases in total giving me 42 sts)
I shaped gusset after the second CC and stop when I got 11 sts for it. The third stripe on the gusset is made in plain st st.
After the last stripe (8 rows) I knitted 4 more rows in MC (12 rows) and finished with the I-cord bind off as in pattern.
For the thumb, I did not pick up any extra stitches (just one that I k2tog with the next to avoid having a hole) and knitted as for the hand.

That’s it!
