Starting from row 16 because I’m not feeling the really long cuff. Otherwise, knitting as written.

Cast on with alternating long tail over size 10 needles. Definitely won’t have enough yarn for 2 mitts, but I figure that’s just an excuse for another Knit Picks order and dyelot differences won’t show so much on 2 different mittens. (Or so I hope, since I don’t actually have the second skein right now.)

01-27-2013 - Definitely need to place that order. I like the clever decreases hidden in with the cables on the glove’s tip. Thumb decreases done all on one row instead of two since the original design was too tapered for me, but otherwise all done as written. Fastest single mitten ever, if you discount all the stupid mistakes I made at first with gauge and casting on incorrect numbers of stitches. Once I started it took maybe 6 hours with copious hanging and folding laundry breaks.

02-09-2013 - Order received today, with 2 more skeins of Biggo for the second mitten and a matching hat. Dyelots seem very similar, but we’ll see how they compare when knit up. I need to finish my Tangled Cuff Mittens so my US 10 Addis are freed up for the second mitten.

02-10-2013 - Tangled Cuffs are all knit, cast on during the blizzard today (as of 10 pm I can no longer open my front door because the snow is too high), and am already to the gusset increases.

02-11-2013 - Mittens are done! A quick, well-written pattern. The second skein was slightly darker, which shows up more in the knit fabric, and seems slightly thicker, although that could just be because I had to rip out and reknit so much on the first one. Overall, very happy with them. Plotting a hat with the leftovers ane one extra skein that I have.
