Changed the pattern a bit. I did a provisional cast on so I could add a rib around the bottom. I also did not decrease the same way the pattern was written. I started by knitting 6 then k2tog. Then knit three rows even. On the fourth I knot 5 then k2tog. I continued decreasing one stitch each round before I k2tog with three rows knit in between. I the. Did two rows of k2tog at the end and pulled the yarn through the remaining 9 stitches.

Did about two inches of ribbing around the bottom to make the hat fit well.
