I love the simple, yet beautiful design of this shawl/scarf, but I’m not so fond of having to move the stitch marker back and forth every single row. If I do this pattern again, I will use the M1R and M1L methods of increase and have a marker on either side of the center stitch.

I did a total of 9 repeats of the eyelet pattern, which took nearly a skein and a half of my yarn.
