Unfortunately, I didn’t write up my notes right away, so I’ve already forgotten everything about knitting this sweater. My son, who loves color like his mommy, chose the color scheme -- my original plan was black with white and red stripes, but he thought that was “boring.” He absolutely loves the sweater and wore it for seven days in a row at one point.

I didn’t take great photos, so you can’t see that there are two stripes at the bottom of the body (right above the ribbing) and at the cuff of the sleeves (also above the ribbing). He suggested that.

I swear he was growing overnight while I knit this. I would try it on him at night, measure how much more I needed to knit, knit while he was asleep, and then find it was too short the next morning. This happened twice!

Great, easy pattern with a perfect result. Lots of chances for variation, so I’m sure I’ll knit this again.
