Knit with sportweight wool from the stash, single-stranded. My gauge was a bit larger than the pattern gauge, so I did a little math and determined that the Size 1 (30”) instructions would result in the perfect fit for my 34” self. Happily, my math served me well (for once); this little darling fits like a dream.

Skipped the buttoned-/split-cuff in favor of a traditional one, because my interpretation of this sweater was more workhorse than fancy. Plus, I am a notorious loser/abuser of all things buttons, so it’s best not to tempt fate.
