A skirt! A thick woolen skirt! Just in time for Spring! Such a pity this little darling has to go into seasonal hibernation, but come cool weather, my bum will be the warmest and loveliest of all the bums.

As other Ravelers have said, the elastic really IS transformative. Off the needles, this baby could have safely housed two Rachels. As a FO? Perfection.

Mods:

• Less Volume: Increased every other stitch (versus every stitch) at the top.
• No Pockets: As much as I love a pocketed skirt, I wanted this one to be more sleek and work-appropriate.
• Extended length.
• Finished off with a seed stitch hem to prevent rolling.
• Less Daisy: Too late, I realized that I had overshot my desired length and trimmed it back to two-and-a-half sets of daisy stitch, versus four.
