Notes

Aug 23 2011 finished piece that has been in hibernation

April 1st
pattern calls for item to be crocheted flat for the sleeves you know if I make this again I am going to omit two stitches and make it in the round and get rid of two seam lines it would look better and have a nicer hang as well. I would also increase 1 stitch every round instead of two every other would make a nicer transition

drops has a free design just like this one minus the sleeves if you are smart enough to figure out your own sleeves or don’t want sleeves you will not have to buy the magazine

silk yarn
I am skipping the glitter metallic thread not so cool to me I like the simplicity of the cream silk much more

March 29

I am making this longer than the original as I want the two side to actually meet in the front as long as I keep the edge divisible by 18 the lace edging will work so that is simple enough to do
*****
march 3o
have body done and lace edge just sleeves left to do. I made it longer than the original in the body area so it will actually cover more and not have the lapels splitting both of my breast in half when looked at which looked real odd to me. The original in my opinion hits my body in a weird place thus the reason I wanted it longer which makes it wider too
the lapels that is
