Notes

So after my first triumphant rendition of this pattern, I had to go and leave one of the slippers in a hostel in Amsterdam!

Yeah.

Not to worry, though. It was always my intention to knit another pair for myself anyway. The copy of the pattern I have didn’t specify a gauge or the bulkiness of the wool I should use, so I had trouble finding the right size. The DK wool I ended up choosing was a little too thin, and my slippers were a little too loose by the time I finished messing with the pattern.

I’ve finished the first slipper of this new pair, and it’s already a lot better. I’m looking forward to wearing these around the house!
