Casted on during the flight to Spokane for family trip in Coeur d’Alene / Glacier / Waterton / Banff / Yoho / Jasper / Kootenay. So excited for this road trip project!

Finished body. That was quick! And this is fun :) This yarn is growing on me and I’ve loved it from the start. Ruth is also really into the color detail on the bottom of the body and the cuffs of the sleeves.

Finished first sleeve. Spent a lot of time trying to figure out right finishing length. It’s hard to measure exact length in a car… Hopefully I did the right thing, but I can always adjust if I have to…

Finished second sleeve. I did the same thing as for the first sleeve to at least be consistent. I think it will work out.

Finished all the knitting except for the turtleneck. Love it but still deciding exactly how to finish it.

Finished!

I undid the color B turtleneck and chose to do 3 rows of stockinette with color B and then an icord bindoff (my first time doing so). The sweater barely fits over my head; there’s always a little scare putting it on and off that I’m going to get stuck.

Then I grafted sleeves (a technique I always have to look up but I’m also always successful) and thereafter laboriously wove in yarn ends.
