Notes

Test knit for Ellen Mason using Nanne Kennedy’s Seacolors yarn purchased at Rhinebeck 2014. The Ravelry database has the put up listed as 100g, but my skeins were 114g. I used 380g total or about 874 yards.

The beautiful carved shell buttons were from my mother’s button stash. Each button is unique, and features a different carved design.

I had a lot of fun knitting this pattern. With a gauge of 4 sts per inch it knit up very quickly. Ellen makes wonderful use of short rows to shape the lower hem and sleeve edges.

The pattern includes helpful illustrations for those who are less familiar with this type of one piece construction.

Ellen plans to publish the pattern shortly. Contact Ellen for more information.
