Using Grumperina's method for cabling without a cable needle.

Mods

• cast on 68 st adding 1 st in each knit/purl column,
• made ribbing 14 r,
• leg r 1-32 + r 1-23,
• heel flap in plan stockinet 34 r knit first and slip last st on all rows, round heel, picked up 18 st on each side and knit through the backloop on the first r,
• foot r 24-32 + 1-32 twice + 2 stockinet r,
• toe decreased every other r until 40 st left then every r until 8 left, cut yarn and pulled through.
