General
The yarn is lovely to work with, very soft an neither splits nor fuzzes. And since I’m using much smaller needles than the manufacturer recommends it will hopefully keep its shape. It’s very sticky however so my colourwork is a little slower than usual.
Since I have so much yarn I’m making it a bit longer and adding the pockets from Tea with Jam and Bread.
Hmmmm, I think the bottom ribbing turned out a little loose. I should probably redo it on slightly smaller needles but I don’t know if I have the energy right now.

Mods

• Started with the sleeves and used some of the colourwork from the yoke: Cast on 42st with magenta on 3.25mm DPNs, ribbing 1 row, changed to tomato, ribbing 18 rows = c. 5cm. Changed to 4mm DPNs, knit 1 row. Changed to orange, knit 2 rows. Broke orange and changed back to tomato, knit 3 rows. Added turqouise, worked triangles for 3 rows. Broke off turqouise. Did first increase on next round = 10th round after ribbing = 44st. Knitted rest of sleeve as pattern = 68st. 35 rows after end of increases = 48cm.
• Made a provisional cast-on for the body (194st) and knitted 20 rounds before attatching the sleeves and starting on the short rows and colourwork as pattern.
• This yarn is so incredibly sticky I’m not bothering to anchor long floats. Everything will stick together anyway.
• Knitting with 4 colours instead of doing duplicate stitch.
• Ended the neckband with 2 rows of magenta and cast off in that colour too.
• Interesting stats: A yoke round with 2 colours takes 15-20 min, one with 3 colours take 30-35 min, and one with 4 45-50 min.
• For a slightly more A-line body increased 2st in each side on the first row after picking up the provisional cast-off and then every 13th row 7 times = 8 increases (198 - 202 - 206 - 210 - 214 - 218 - 222 - 226).
• Started the pockets on the row after the 6th increase and followed the numbers for size L1. Cast on and knitted the first ribbing row (2k+1p) in magenta. Knitted 8 ribbing rows. Started on same colourwork as sleeves on row 35. Knitted together with pocket linings on row 42. Picked up 1st extra on each side for the pocket lining and knitted 41 rows of lining on 3.75mm needles.
• Ribbing as for Flugeldar but didn’t change to smaller needle, also last 2 rows & cast-off with magenta.

Timeline
2016-04-03: Finished the first sleeve.
2016-04-05: Started on the second sleeve.
2016-04-08: Finished the second sleeve and started on the body.
2016-04-09: Started on the yoke. Knitting with 4 colours isn’t as tricky as a feared. Very much like knitting with 3 in fact. Though slower of course.
2016-04-15: Finished the yoke and started on the neckband.
2016-04-16: Finished the neckband and fastened all loose ends in the yoke & sleeves.
2016-04-18: Grafted the underarm seams and started on the body.
2016-04-22: Started on the pockets.
2016-04-24: Finished pockets.
2016-04-25: Finished! Just soaking and a light blocking left.
