Making square A2 for a cushion cover. This was fun! I’m going to continue making the squares I like best from this throw.

I’m so glad I found the coloured charts, the monochrome ones in the pattern are hopeless.

Fassett’s method of using long lengths of yarn, without bothering with butterflies or bobbins, actually works! Particularly with a yarn like this that you can spit felt. Whenever I run out I just add on another length. It’s so much easier to untangle lose threads than little bobbins/butterflies that threatens to unravel and/or get twisted together into a hopeless snarl!
