This was a great project…especially for those times when you need something to pick up at odd moments. The time line isn’t completely accurate, there were times when this poor thing sat ignored for a week or two at a time.

Pattern - is straight forward, well written. It has some details for better fit, etc. but not an overwhelming amount. Some sweater knitting knowledge is helpful, but by no means necessary….i.e. a good beginner project. Not to mention, the little bit of interaction (due to my time constraints) Marie’s group is an extremely warm, helpful group.

Yarn - I’m hoping this will be an everyday cardigan. Knit at this gauge it seems to wear well (no pilling at being ripped, reknit, and drug around). Color is most accurate in the wip basket picture. After wearing this a few times, it is heavy, both warmth and weight. I’d like to make another with a lighter weight yarn, and more cropped.

Only mods were my standard of adding about 2” in length.

Us #2 for ribbing
Us#3 for purl sts
Us#4 for knit sts
Us#5 for BO

Yarn usage -1st skein yoke +3” past underarm
2nd skein - body to 1-1/4” from body bottom
3rd skein - remainder of body, neckbandm button bands, sleeve 1 + 5” into 2nd sleeve
